From July 2020 our clinic became paperless. We use a professional physiotherapy system called TM3 which stores all our patient notes, data and appointment details. As our payment methods are not linked to this system and are via BACS, we do not store any card or patient bank details. TM3 is ISO 27001 certified, and has a dedicated infosec team to ensure the data of its clients and their clients is protected to the highest possible level. All data is stored in highly secure, monitored datacentre in the UK.
We may transfer the information to other offices and to other reputable third-party organisations as explained above – they may be situated inside or outside the European Economic Area. Patient records completed before July 2020 are stored as paper files, which are in secure storage and kept for seven years and/or until a patient reaches the age of 21.
